There's nothing that I don't like about the software. Would be great to link to a debt collection service. We get paid on time and can focus on brewing and running our tap room. Easy to use and v effective. Increased Cash Flow. More time to focus on brewing. As a small brewery, with over a hundred customers, the main pro is not having to do too much with it. It's very easy to use. There's a little bit of set up time half hour to an hour but then it runs pretty seamlessly.
I don't know too much about the ins and outs, but our customers are always fine with it and we get paid on time. And as we started with next to no capital, it's been a lifesaver. I also like that they continue to add new features, which not all our add-ons do, and that the reporting is simple and easily digestible. Not a lot to add here. There are a number of useful features which make credit control a much more manageable task and in particular the wording and layout of the reminder which makes it appear much more personal than other automated reminders.
I can't say there is anything I like least, perhaps and being picky the only thing I would say I like least is the look - it's a bit plain - but then it's not the look of Chaser which is important but the functionality and usability in my opinion. Once set up, Chaser integrates superbly well with Xero achieving significant results in a short space of time. I love Chaser's one-click integration with 3rd party apps. We try and automate all our billing invoices so we can minimize mistakes and free up our teams to work on more high value important things - Chaser allows us to accomplish this goal. I sometimes wish they had ticketing available for customer support. Many folks on my team are familiar with that process and it is a pain to re-train them, but that is not a huge problem.
Credit control and debtor days are improved with very little effort on our part. Chaser makes credit control much easier and slicker. Too bad. I downloaded Transcribe and it seems to be just fine. The web site says that after executing the downloadable, which is just some zipped up files, you then follow the instructions in readme.
