I tried to adding the Google Site Verification code to the end of the text record and asked Search Console to verify but it returned an error it had time to propagate as it showed the correctly returned TXT record. Is it even possible to setup multiple text records in this context? I've read conflicting messages saying that it's part of the DNS standards that you can have multiple TXT records, which essentially are saving on multiple lines of the record, but this isn't possible within cPanel.

The first issue here is a concern that you're running on cPanel v There have been a vast number of changes since that time. This is something that, if you don't have access to update you should discuss with your provider. As far as TXT records, I'm not sure I understand the issue, there should be no issue with adding additional TXT records in the cPanel UI - would it be possible for you to include a screenshot so I can better understand what's being added?
